How to Use a LamaTama Fortune Teller

Quick answer

To use your LamaTama Mystical Electronic Fortune Teller, open the blind box, press the activation button, and follow the on-screen prompts to receive a fortune.

How to activate and play with your LamaTama

1. Open the blind box carefully: Tear open the sealed packaging along the perforated edge. Remove the LamaTama figure and any included instructions or accessories. Common mistake: pulling too hard can damage the figure or its electronic components. Open slowly and check for small parts if the toy is for a young child.
2. Locate the activation button: Find the small button on the base or back of the LamaTama figure. Press and hold it for 2-3 seconds until you hear a sound or see a light. Common mistake: pressing too briefly may not activate the toy; press firmly until it responds. If nothing happens, replace the battery (usually a small coin cell) or check the battery tab.
3. Receive your fortune: Once activated, the LamaTama will display or speak a fortune. Follow any on-screen prompts to cycle through different fortunes or modes. Common mistake: ignoring the prompts may cause the toy to turn off early. Each fortune is random; there is no way to predict or repeat a specific one.
