The pieces are bigger than your average puzzle, which made the 500 count feel manageable even for my impatient ten-year-old. We finished the whole beach scene over two evenings, and the image quality is so crisp it almost looked like a photo on our table.
Spent a rainy afternoon putting this one together with my kids and the tropical scene kept us hooked until the very last piece. The large format makes the 500 pieces much easier to handle than standard puzzles, and the sunset colors pop beautifully.
