Zeus on the Loose Card Game

The number-matching mechanic is such a sneaky way to get my son practicing addition without him realizing it, and he genuinely cheers when he finally catches Zeus. We've played five rounds in a row tonight and the chase to 100 still feels tense every single time.

My daughter and I play this almost every night now—adding the numbers as we chase Zeus toward 100 is sneaky math practice that actually feels like a game. The card quality is sturdy enough for her excited hands, and even when she’s losing she’s still laughing.

My 9-year-old actually asks to play this, which says a lot since he usually prefers screens. The adding-to-100 mechanic sneaks in some mental math without him noticing, though rounds can drag a bit if everyone keeps stealing Zeus back and forth.
