My daughter spent a whole rainy afternoon on these slides, and the frame held up perfectly even when she got a little rough with it. Watching her mermaid go from flat coloring to a 3D scene she could slide around was genuinely magical.
I was a little skeptical that coloring could turn into something dimensional, but the way the slides fit into the sturdy frame makes the mermaid scenes really pop off the page. My daughter spent a full afternoon on the five illustrations and now they're proudly displayed on her shelf.
The frame feels solid enough to survive being knocked off the table mid-project, and the slides slide in and out without any snagging. My daughter spent a whole afternoon layering colors on the mermaid tails, and watching them pop in 3D once the frame was assembled was genuinely cool.
