My 12-month-old immediately grabbed for Elmo and hasn’t put him down since—those soft, plush arms are perfect for tiny hands to squeeze. The costume stays on well during playtime, but it’s nice knowing it’s removable if we ever need to wash it.
The removable teddy bear costume is the cleverest part—my toddler loves switching it on and off, and the plush underneath is just as soft as Elmo's usual fur. It's held up through plenty of drool and tugging without a loose stitch, which says a lot for a 12-inch toy.
My 10-month-old lights up every time she sees Elmo in this teddy bear getup, and the hood actually stays on during our tummy-time sessions. At 12 inches it's the perfect size for her little arms to wrap around, and the plush is soft enough that she chews on the ears without complaint.
