The colors on those Swedish houses are so vivid against the blue water that it felt like a mini vacation putting it together. Pieces fit snugly and held up well to my daughter’s repeated assembling, definitely a keeper for a rainy afternoon.
My 11-year-old finished this in one rainy afternoon and immediately wanted to redo it—the pink granite cliffs and those red and yellow houses are so distinct that even the trickiest sky pieces were fun to sort. It’s a perfect challenge for that age, not too easy, not frustrating.
The image quality is what sold me—those pink granite cliffs and the blue water really pop, making the Swedish village come alive. My 12-year-old was absorbed for a good hour, and the 100 pieces were just the right challenge for an afternoon.
