The moving keyboard on the typewriter actually depresses when you press the keys, which I didn't expect from a set this size. I built the keytar version first and it looks great on my shelf, but now I want to take it apart and try the flowerpot.
I picked the flowerpot build first and the pen actually sits in it, which I didn't expect from the pictures. Took me about an hour and a half, and now I kind of want to take the keytar apart just to try the other version.
The moving keyboard mechanism is such a clever touch—my niece actually gasped when the keys clicked up and down. We built the typewriter first, and the flower details on top make it feel twice as special sitting on her desk.
