The steering actually works, which I didn't expect from a display model this size. Took me about two hours to finish and the engine detailing is genuinely impressive up close.
The working steering is the detail that sold me — you can actually turn the front wheels and it feels solid, not loose. Took me about three evenings to finish, and the Schumacher figure in the cockpit is a nice touch for anyone who watched those seasons.
I’m not usually one for display sets, but the detai l on this F2004 is wild—the working steering actually functions smoothly as you roll it, which made me grin like a kid. Watching Schumacher’s red car come together piece by piece felt like a mini victory lap.
